I’ve always held the opinion that nothing we do can be classed as ‘original’, yes it can be ‘ours’, it can be unique to us, BUT, something inspired us in the first place, so therefore, how can anything be classed as original?

I’m not disputing someone’s right to their protect their creations, but I do think the notion of being ‘original to me’ is misguided… Afterall, one of my designs could inspire another to design something of their own, and something will have inspired me to begin with… Creativity not originality
